Nick and Amy met in 2013. With a little coaxing, Nick convinced Amy to train with him for the Boston Marathon. After a winter of supporting and pushing each other when training got tough, the day finally arrived. About a half mile before the finish line, runners were asked to stop running because of an emergency--the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. Starting the race separately, they miraculously found each other during the chaos and sadness. It ended up being a turning point in their relationship. Later that year they moved to our beautiful city by the bay, where they trained all winter for 2014 Boston Marathon, this time, crossing the finish line together.
Avid travelers and adventurers, Nick picked the perfect place to propose-- Zion National Park. After a 14-mile hike through the red rock he popped the question.
They wanted a classic, elegant wedding, but casual enough where friends and family could let loose and really have fun. Mission accomplished! Not only was the ceremony a perfect balance of love and laughter, the reception really kicked into high-gear when Wonder Bread 5, took the stage! Guests were on the dance floor from the first song till the last.
The evening ended with a dazzling sparkler send off.
